Carry at polling places.

I browsed through my secretary of state website, didn't see any provisions against being armed while voting for Alabama.

Anyway, I have been armed. Concealed at every election since I moved here. Never had any problem. Signs on city hall say no open carry of firearms allowed.

Unless it has been changed since 2020, there is no specific prohibition to carrying a firearm at a voting location in NC, UNLESS the polls are in a school, federal or state courthouse, or any building that has a posted general ban on firearms within.
OK, where I lived it was always conducted in a courthouse annex.

Know what's insane? NO carry guns at NRA Convention. WTH

Anyways
Arizona law prohibits private citizens, even if properly licensed, from entering the 75-foot limit of a voting location with a weapon. Further, since many voting locations are located in schools, it may be unlawful to bring a firearm on school property, even outside the 75-foot-limit. A.R.S. § 13-3102(A)(11)-(12).

Openly carrying a firearm outside the 75-foot limit is also problematic and likely to result in unlawful voter intimidation. Additionally, any aggressive or ostentatious display of a weapon will almost certainly constitute an act of intimidation.
Same with photographs.

This was only in the room that Trump was speaking in, while he was speaking.

Well I'd believe someone who was there. This is from a Texan who lives nearby.

"The Secret Service may have said no guns, but that would have been the case anyway, as the City of Houston has an ordnance banning the carrying of guns in the George Brown Convention Center."

Well I'd believe someone who was there.
They are mistaken.
"...the City of Houston has an ordnance banning the carrying of guns in the George Brown Convention Center."
By TX law, the City of Houston can not ban carry in that building.

13. Does a state agency or political subdivision (e.g., a county or city) have the right to exclude license holders from carrying concealed handguns on state, county, or city property?
No. State agencies and political subdivisions cannot use §30.06, or §30.07, Texas Penal Code, to prohibit handguns from their government property. If a state agency or political subdivision unlawfully posts a sign under §30.06 or §30.07, the state agency or political subdivision can be fined $1,000-$1,500 for the first offense and $10,000-$10,500 for each subsequent offense.

There are a few exceptions to this law, but they apply to things like courthouses and police stations and certain governmental meetings.

Here's the law.

https://statutes.capitol.texas.gov/Docs/GV/htm/GV.411.htm#411.209

Except as provided by Subsection (i), a state agency or a political subdivision of the state may not take any action, including an action consisting of the provision of notice by a communication described by Section 30.06 or 30.07, Penal Code, that states or implies that a license holder who is carrying a handgun under the authority of this subchapter is prohibited from entering or remaining on a premises or other place owned or leased by the governmental entity unless license holders are prohibited from carrying a handgun on the premises or other place by Section 46.03, Penal Code, or other law.

(b) A state agency or a political subdivision of the state that violates Subsection (a) is liable for a civil penalty of:

(1) not less than $1,000 and not more than $1,500 for the first violation; and

(2) not less than $10,000 and not more than $10,500 for the second or a subsequent violation.

(c) Each day of a continuing violation of Subsection (a) constitutes a separate violation.

Is concealed carry allowed at the Show?

During the 151st NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits, personal firearms may be carried in the George R. Brown Convention Center (GRBCC) in accordance with Texas law. When carrying your firearm, always adhere to all federal, state, and local laws.

----------------------

I carried. I saw people open carrying there.
Yes, you were not allowed to carry in the hall where Trump spoke when he was there. That was the only exclusion. That was a SS thing, not a NRA or Texas law thing.

Well that's reassuring.
It's like one large LGS here in town wants you to disarm when entering the store which pisses me off so I rarely go in.
