Mindset for CC&W

I really appreciate Everyone and I'm am amazed How Much I learn with each Time I sit and Just read everyones Input.I make it a Learning Practice for about a hour everyday and the best part its free of Charge. It truly teaches The safety and handling of Firearms for the Lifestyle we all have chosen ...with that said ,I want to re-check My Own Mindset about Carrying a Concealed Firearm ...What should be Our Mindset and Attitude We each should have in Your experiences and knowledge about CC&W in 3 Words..

Mindset in three words?

"If I MUST."

Another three word soundbite? "No Other Choice."

I dry fire regularly. I got the laser target with the laser "bullets" for a holiday gift. Now it's dry fire plus draw/present/aim/dry fire with evidence of where I was aiming. I'm trying to build muscle memory.

I like "for my defense" Sums up the mindset. Another "always be alert"

But based on my practicing, for my CCW three word submission, I'll go the route of mechanics:

"just like practice"

Because, <deleted> Happens

Can it please be a three word mantra, running through my brain, over & over again??

NOT MY FAMILY...as in, you aren't gonna harm my family, without me unloading. I teach a class for CCW in Ohio, and am always going over the laws, and try to get the right mindset. Luckily I have never, and hope I won't be faced with the decision, but if it needs to happen for the security of my Wife, and Daughters, I am willing to spend the rest of my life in prison for their security.
