Hi folks, I'm waiting for my CHL to be mailed in in hopefully a month. In the mean time, i can save up to get my carry pistol. Now I currently have a P64 but looking to get a 9mm pistol. I was planning for it to be my ccw but with the advent of smaller 9mm it got me thinking of consolidating my caliber. I already have an HD and range gun in 9mm and SD ammo as well.
So a buddy of mine have both an LC9 and PF9. I have tried both and both didn't work for me as far as how their trigger is set up. I got no problem with weight of pull but it's more of "when" the trigger breaks. It actually became unnatural for my hands and fingers when the guns would fire. I was a bit better with the LC9 but it required tremendous concentration - one that i might not have during a high stress situation.
So those 2 are out of the question. Now i am looking at the Taurus G2. It has second strike capability (DA/SA) for a striker fired pistol. The mag holds 12 + 1. Because of the double stack, the grip might offer more "meat" for me to hold it, unlike the PF9 and the LC9. So this pistol is starting to grow on me.
Now my question is, how does the trigger on the G2 compared to LC9 and PF9. I want to know first hand experience if possible. thanks
