I have fairly new CD hi-power lees then 500 rounds through it.
Last range trip I had a few FTEs where the extractor would not hook the case then the next live round would then slam into the empty case still in the chamber. It only happened a few times. When I cleaned it I made sure the the extractor was clean of any gunk. I inspected the extractor and can see nothing wrong with it.
Yesterday (4/28) I took it to a friendly IDPA type shoot. And the first stage I had no problems by the 3rd it was FTEing almost every other shot. I was using my own reloads and WWB both 115 grain.
I have one factory mag and one Macgar mag. I'm pretty sure I was having the most problems with the factory mag but I can't say for sure. Could this be mag related?
