Out of curiosity has anyone else had problems with long shipping times from centerfire sytems?
They say 'next day shipping' but on my last order it took close to two weeks to even ship and my last order I haven't even heard a peep about and I ordered two weeks ago today...

That's fairly easy to fix, if you used a credit card. Call their 800 number and cancel the order. Call back the next day and order it again. They'll get the idea quickly. They ship as advertised, everything works, they don't, they loose business.

Magnus posts over on AR15.com, and I have Lois on my Yahoo messenger. Be straight up, and if they don't operate to your liking, go elsewhere. I've dealt with them once on a rifle, and it was a very, very casual transaction from their end. It didn't take two weeks for them to ship, more like five days. I didn't quite get their way of conducting business, but the product was more than satisfactory and at a competitive price.

They post here from time to time. If you're unhappy, just email them and let them know.

I've had good luck with them.

Thanks for the input guys, I appreciate it.
I think I'll give them a ring later on today just to see whats up.

1 order.

No complaints.

I think it shipped after 2 or 3 days. To be honest, I never really noticed the same day shipping thing.

Interestingly enough, they packed a Makarov holster in my order. I saw it and said wth? It was on the invoice... for $0.00.

Seems I got a gift. Shame I didn't find a Makarov in the box too, but I'm not THAT lucky. :D

I've had long shipping times on ammo. Their flyer/website stated that they have the ammo in stock (.223 Wolf and S&B) when they didn't.

It was quite irritating last summer but I like the folks there, their prices were excellent, and everything else has been fine.

I wouldn't order a popular cartridge like .223 from them over the internet, I'd call first.

I had a poor experience. It was resolved, however.

I ordered several AK magazines from them. When researching the order, I noticed that they had a super-cheap sale on AK mag parts, in fair/rusty condition. Since an additional magazine ordered in el-cheapo parts would cost only $5 but be of unknown quality, I decided to order enough parts to build one magazine, assess their condition, and possibly order a bunch more later--$5 for an AK mag is a great deal, even if I have to blast and paint it.

I placed the order online, paid with credit card. My card was charged the next day or so.

Two weeks later, and no magazines. I called and spoke to somebody there that told me that their magazines were currently being unpacked and sorted and that they would ship in a few days. No problem.

About a week later, I received the complete magazines, but not the parts. The parts were indicated as being picked on their packing list, but were not in the box.

I called again and spoke with another representative and told her that I received the magazines, but not the parts I ordered. She became defensive and rather rude. She assured me that if the packing list was marked, it was in the box, which was obviously not the case. After a few more minutes of discussion and enduring more accusations of fraud from the representative, she finally agree to send a "replacement."

TWO WEEKS LATER, I get the last "magazine". It's now been 5-6 weeks since my order. While I did finally get everything, the time frame was unacceptable. Furthermore, I was certainly dissatisfied after having my credibility impugned over $5.00. To me, that is completely unacceptable service.
