Recently did some testing on some popular projectiles with CFE Pistol. Thought I'd share the results. All were fired from a Ruger P95 in a Ransom Rest.

Thnx! I have been reloading the RMR 9mm 124 gr JHPs and wondering about their performance. My tests into wet pack were inconsequential and my discussion with RMR told me 1,250 fps was an optimum speed for the 124 JHP. Excellent report!

@mdi Thank you. I went back and forth with RMR as well. If you use these hollow point for what they are stated, a "multi purpose round", then you wont be disappointed. They are very accurate, feed well, and priced reasonably. The only thing I saw with these is the jacketing does come apart as you can see, but again, they're selling them as multi purpose and not self defense.

@twarr1 Thank you. The V-Crowns are high on my list to always keep a good stock of in my arsenal. They are super accurate, and they do exactly what a HP is supposed to do. I'd be very interested to hear your results with those two powders.

@MInerJohn - Great quality post. Thanks for report! I’m working up loads with the Sig V-Crown also but with Accurate and Ramshot powders.

ParallelCode Yes I do. This was the 5 shot test. Top numbers are fired weight and bottom numbers were the diameter of the expansion.

Quality post @MInerJohn

Do you have the weight retention results for the Hornady XTP by chance?
