I prefer the specops on mine due to the adjustable LOP and, of course, the recoil reduction. I like old-school looks, but in this case, I have gone with new-school advantages.
Very nice. Maybe I will post mine when I am done. I am taking a police from wood to a AR stock and grip with a Mesa adapter, going in the opposite direction.
Hey, since when is wood on a shotgun not tactical?
A simple oil finish has worked just fine on combat shotguns since WW1 and is no more reflective than black plastic.
Someone _might_ try to argue that wood stocks in humidity may affect point of impact, but we're talking about PATTERNS here, not tiny repetitive groups.
SWEEET! Now, if we could get some pics with more light so the wood's grain can be admired more fully.
If you decide to refinish the wood, good pics will make for an awesome before and after thread.
