Changing your carry gun?

I started with the 1911A1 because it is what I used at the SO and for a lot of training. I got a 380 Government Model because the controls were similar and it seemed to make sense. I have tried to warm to the Glock, but I simply never liked it.

I like the HK P30, it has a great combination of DA/SA, the paddle release, that I learned to love, and a simple decocker. However, I found the Browning 1911-380, which is near the Goldiloks position between the 1911 in 45 and the various small form 1911 style 380 pistols. As such, unless I am kayaking, where yes, I use a Glock, I have my 1911-380. Yes, at times I consider a P30sk, I just see no compelling reason to change.

My primary carry piece will likely remain the Kahr CW9, or a version thereof, until I get planted.
I have that same gun but in 45. The CW45. I really like it and use it extensively at the range for DA and recoil practice. I don't carry it often but would have no problem carrying a Kahr 9mm or .45 every day. Great guns.

I never owned or been interested in polymer Kahrs. I do have the all steel versions if the CW9 and CW40. I don't ever carry the K9 anymore, but I carried the K40 for years. It's kind of been replaced with my Shield 45, but I'm not sure for how long. I just keep going by to the Kahr for some reason.
