This is a tough question considering three of them were Colts, including a 1966 Python. Even more surprising is that I'm gonna have to say a Glock 26. Only because I'm so surprised at how much I like it.

Only one S&W 638 snub but always looking.I just know there is a Glock 36 out trying to find me. Gun show coming up the weekend before christmas.

Definitely the HK P7 PSP

Not very original or unique but I already have those.

Like this one, which is a close second for my most satisfying purchase this year.

Yeah I know this is handguns but the title of the thread said "gun"

Very happy to get my hands on a "factory new condition" Smith Wesson 4046 semi auto. Bud's had it for $339 and I wasn't disappointed when it arrived. Very nice shooter and looks great too.

New to purchasing guns this year...

I am very happy that I spent the "extra" cash to get the Kahr PM9 for my EDC. It seems like a stretch at the time but now, that extra money is a after thought. I like it.

bought a DE 44/50 AE, XD .45 tac, CX4 Storm rifle, Kimber Crimson Carry but the Kimber seems to be my fav of the ones I got this year.

It was a tie for 09

...

That would have to be a tie between my other, bought, used, n/r Sig P229/40 and my NIB SA EMP 1911 9mm..

All 3 have gone, combined, over 12000 rounds, flawlessly, for the year.. 09

A Bersa UC9. I still can't get over the value of this thing! Unfortunately, besides a Savage MKII, that was my only purchase of 2009.

I'd have to say my Springfield Light weight operator. Super light and easy to carry during the day and by night I mount a tlr-1 and turn on the crimson trace 401s. A really versatile 1911 and the finish superior to any out of the box gun I've ever bought.

Close runner up is the 458 socom but it still needs optics n such.

A mint/as new Series '70. I just love these and now I've got another.

pharmer: ah, one of "The Twelve." You don't see those that often! Very nice.
