Need advice on how to unstuck it.

I was sighting in my scope with a laser bullet last night and I opened it up to get the laser bullet out, locked open the bolt, it wouldn't come out on its own so I kinda bumped the stock on the ground which unlocked the bolt slamming it home on the laser bullet.. Now I can't the charging handle is stuck and won't open. sigh

Thanks for advice.

Im assuming the charging handle went forward with the bolt?

If so, try holding the gun upright, and while pulling down on the charging handle, raise the gun up and rap the stock down on something solid. They usually pop loose in a bump or two.

If Trackskippy's idea doesn't work...

Get a piece of wood, place it on the charging handle to hold the release. Get a big hammer and tap on it, or you can give a solid hit.

Your next problem might be getting the laser out of the chamber. If it's also stuck, you might have to put a wood dowel down the barrel and tap it out.

Not wood dowel. Oak dowel and no hammer. Bump it against basement wall . Bump not slammed. Not like it's welded in. My cleaning rods are too expensive to play with

Yeah well I screwed up a wood dowel, and a cleaning rod. They got flared out. Had to hammer down the charging handle like MK-211 said, that worked. Still wouldn't come out.
Shoulda used a solid steel dowel. But, I ran it down to the gunsmith at Turners for fear of damaging it more and he popped it out. He said that thing was really stuck. I tipped him a twenty spot.

So the laser bullet is from Tacticon Armament, says 308/243. Still works but I'm kinda leary about it. Anyways I just wanted to get it close to hit some paper. I think bore sighters save ammo that way.
My son told me a trick if you want to zero a scope at 100 yds at your house and don't have a range or nuthin, go to Google maps, find your house, right click and then you can draw out a line and as you draw out the line it tells you in inches and feet how far away a target is. My neighbors house is exactly 100 yards away.o_O lol Thats why I was out there at night.

Good to hear you got it out.

Sounds like the BCG jammed the laser in the chamber pretty well. Did it survive or did it die from being pounded out?

Turner's, on the left coast also?

Yes sir, Turners in Tucson AZ. Nice folk in there and great prices.
It did survive, it got roughed up but the gunsmith smoothed it out. Nothing bad happened in the rifle. I thought I broke the charging handle at first by pounding it out using a piece of wood and hammer but its fine.
I do need a longer charging handle on it.

I use something like this
I keep one of these in my pocket, and one dummy corded on all my chest bags. I can only ever remember one stuck case in any of my AR's and I got it out with my Leatherman but it wasn't fun.

Dont know if it would have worked in this case, but at least you can get a hook on the rim and some leverage.

As far as "rods" go, you can get close to bore diameter brass rods off of Amazon for pretty cheap. That way, you wont mess up your cleaning rods, or something silly, like try a piece of wood. :)

Haha
Well dang, I have one of them paint can bottle opener jobs. Great idea.
That table has some beautiful inlay, you should sand and finish it.

Its an old cigar humidor thats doubling as a junk box. It usually has a handgun or two I have out laying on top of it that I dryfire each day and they are starting to take a toll on the finish. At least the dogs haven't knawed on it yet. :)
