You are correct. It is not gouging, because we do not HAVE to buy the stuff from them. It certainly is free market capitalism as well.
And, many of us gun people are exercising our end of the "free market capitalism" by taking our business to people who didn't try to screw us. CTD did exactly that and now they're trying to suck up so people don't go elsewhere. It's not going to work with me. Give em money if you want to.
At least the Brady Campaign lets you know exactly where they stand. They don't flip flop back and forth on a whim. Screw CTD. I hope they go bankrupt.

I think it is okay. I have AR-15 magazine orders with three different companies that have been on backorder for 2 months now. If you can pay more to get them from CTD right away, then I don't see a problem with that. I can wait for my backorders, but if I just had to have them now, I would pay the higher prices.
I can wait. But I'll never go back to CTD.
