Cheapest 44 mag?

I'd be on the lookout for a used Ruger Super Blackhawk, there not even that bad new.

I wish .. I wish .. that the GP100 44Spl was a 44mag

I think about the S&W 69 , Taurus Tracker ...
and the K’ish size frame Charter 41 mag
( Charter frame sizes are neat)
Smaller , lighter frames with big cylinders

I have one, I've had several actually and the GP100 44's are real nice. I do understand wanting it to be a .44 Mag but it can be handloaded hot enough that it should be a pretty good choice even on bigger game. I know Buffalo Bore 245gr clocks at 920 fps from the 3" GP100, I figure with a heavier bullet like a 280gr WFNGC, you could handload it to over 1000 fps pretty easily from the 3" GP100. I had several S&W 69's but I didn't really care for them.

Back in the 1970s, RG made a .44 Magnum.
I couldn't get my friends to kick in money to buy one at $129 to see how it held up.
