it is a CZ 75 D Compact in a sort of sand brown frame.

CZ could make a whole line of this setup, with select pistols that are military pistols as well as top selling pistols in several colors like that sand brown and an OD green as well as a few other military-type colors. they would make a ton of money if sold at reasonable prices.

this has got to be one of the coolest pistols CZ has produced, even if it is from the custom shop.

here is the picture

i want one SO bad!

For a whole lot less money you can have your CZ refinished! Here's my CZ 75B in 40 and my CZ 40P that were refinished by Mac's Shootin' Irons in Tucson:

They're finished in U.S. Gov't Dark Earth and Satin Black.

CZ also made a special run of "Tactical" CZ 75B's that were OD Green and Satin Black. They shipped it with a Kershaw Ken Onion Vapor II knife:

Granted none of these have the "Angus Magic" applied to their internals, but on the other hand the price of admission is much more affordable!!

I note the fact that the CZ custom shop PCR has a steel guide rod. Most say that a steel guide rod in a CZ PCR or P01with their alloy frames is a no-no. The CZ custom shop apparently know otherwise.

Wh's that? The slide--the part it may rub against--is steel, and anywhere the guide rod hits the frame, it doesn't slide. Thus, not galling. What's the big deal?

Have a stel guide rod in my alloy-frame S&W, no problems.

On that note, do they sell just the guide rod? Have a PCR coming my way, and I'm not a fan of plastic FLGR's.

DO NOT BUY CZ !!

They don't break nor do they wear out. This will ruin your gun collecting days.

My CZ shoots dead to point of aim with 124 grn ball and HP and has consumed thousands of them without a hitch.

If I'm not mistaken they did at least one run of green CZ-75s a while back.

I ended up with an OD green from the last run. That run never came with a knife.........

it has a really cool set on it. part of it, you can see, looks and feels like sandpaper, and this grip is so skinny it will not get in the way of any holster.

i don't think that CZ is selling those particular grips anymore.
bummer.
