Chicom M14s

Hey-

Does anyone know how hard it would be to shorten a M14s down a few in? I am trying to find a cheaper way to have a short M14.... the M1a's (as well as most guns now) are outrageous!!! so...


I would like it to be in the 18" or 16" range... kindof like a tanker/scout.... I dont care about MOA accuracy, it would be for 300Yds and less...

Cutting down a chrome lined USGI or Chinese barrel is not recommended, but it is doable.

The very best way is to have SEI install one of their 18.0" Crazy Horse barrels, this
would be a great time to have a USGI bolt installed and head spaced.

I have two Norinco receivers with 18.0" Crazy Horse barrels and TRW bolts, SEIs work is outstanding.
