I remember when the Timney drop-in triggers for the AR-15 came out they were soon pulled from the market for a redesign as it seems they were prone to doubling. Chip McCormick also put out a drop-in trigger for the AR that similarly got pulled from the market and then reappeared.
Does anybody have information as to what the problem was with the initial release of CMC triggers? And, perhaps more relevant, do you know if the second generation of CMC triggers has the problem(s) resolved?
