I picked up a DPMS Panther bull 20 a couple of weeks ago.
I managed to put a major scratch in the barrel.
I had the gun in 2 pieces and broke the bolt release button by pulling the trigger.
On my first outing, I shot a 1in group at 50yards with my YHM pop-up sights. I then did some rapid fire, and got fist size group at 50 yards.
The trigger sticks some and doesn't return all the way forward preventing another shot. Are the stock triggers worth a trip to gunsmith for a trigger job, or should I invest in an aftermarket trigger. I love my Timney on my bolt gun, is their AR trigger just as good? Chip McCormick, JARD, JP Enterprises, Jewell are other brands I have heard about. This will be a hunting and plinking gun, I plan on running a scope.
This is my first AR, and my first .223. I am reloading junkie, I bought the dies and components before getting the rifle.
