never thought about this subject untill I noticed CA limited you to 10 round mags.

If a person has a license to carry a concealed weapon say from TX where your magazine capacity isn't really limited by state law but if you travel to another state that takes advantage of the Resiprocity laws you still have to abide by the state laws that you carry in.

Question:
How do most of you folks that travel state to state alot manage to keep it straight/legal?

I imagine most states that are shall-issue CCW do not have mag capacity limits. But, it's clear that if you're going to be traveling, you need to get a 10-round mag to use on the road, that's all there is to it.

(I'll quietly wait for the "If you carry a 1911 you don't even need to worry about that" comment :neener:)

You've already answered the question: know the laws of the states you'll be visiting.

I travel a lot and, as such, do quite a bit of research.

Good question, though!

Thanks,
