I know this wasn't on your list, but.....:D

My 11 year old son is about 5' 1" and 95 lbs. wringing wet, and has small hands. He can shoot the snot out of my 1911's although he has trouble racking the slide sometimes.

I am in the process of getting a 22 conversion for my Sistema and I'm going to put a flat mainspring housing and short trigger in it. It will be his gun.

Regards,
Happyguy:D

If you have never tried the Kahr's for ccw-then you will kick yourself if you don't. The P9 in polymer is a plesure to carry and if you don't like the polymer -try the T9 full size. The enginering is great as well as the design.

The SIG 239 is an outstanding gun! Get the Houage<sp> screw-on replacement grips. Simply devine.

G26 holds 10 rounds though.

Either one is hard to go wrong with. I would pass on the .380 for the reasons you mentioned. It will come down to which you can shoot reasonably accurate with, and QUICKLY!

Either of the above can handle 9mm +P+ carry ammo, like the Winchester Ranger RA9TA, which has around 441lb/ft of muzzle energy. That's cookin pretty good.

Infact, that is MORE ENERGY OUT OF A 9mm than the Winchester Ranger RA45T load in .45ACP! (but slightly less than the +P .45 Win Ranger loading.)

Hate to tell you this but that P7 is sweeeeeeet.

I shot Justin's and thought HARD about buying one.

I looked at three of the four pistols you are cmparing, and purchased a Smith & Wesson CS9 instead.

I have and carry a Glock 26, and I like it a great deal. Extremely corrosion resistant, low-maintenance, easy to clean, has the same trigger pull every time, and is very light, I carry it in an ankle holster much of the time. Excellent carry gun if there ever was one.
