Well I would like to ask you gentlemen for a little help. I am looking for a new 9mm pistol and have narrowed the field down to these. I know there are many other great options ( Sig, HK, Glock, and so on and so on) but am really into these listed. Please let me know any experience you have with these particular guns or just chime in if you haven't even shot one....lol. Gun will mostly be a range and truck gun with some CC. But mostly something cheaper to go to the range with and work on accuracy. I have held most of them and will see how the rest feel before I make final decision. Thanks in advance for all the wonderful input, advise and help guys!

Go with the XD. I bought my wife a Glock, my best friend bought his wife an XD. We all 4 agree that the XD is by far the superior gun......dang should've got a Springfield......

I have have more than a few 9mm handguns. I have a couple XD's not the M's and they are great guns that have never failed.
But--I've got a CZ P01 that I got about 2 years ago. It is the most comfortable gun I've ever handled--fits my hands like it was made for them. It has never had a failure of any kind and it is so accurate that target shooting can get boring.
All the guns you mention are fine quality firearms but I would give serious consideration to the P01--you will not regret it.
Since I got the P01 I've also added a 75 compact and a 75 BD--those are both great too.
Now I'm looking to add 97 BD and a P07 when funds allow.
But that darn P01 is probably the best handgun I have ever shot--and I've shot quite a few.
Plus
Easy to tear down for cleaning
Great size for CC
The DA/SA action is great and allows for different carry options.
Mags are easy to find and are not too expensive--I have about 8-10 of the Mec Gar mags at about $20 each and they work great.
I'd say get the P01 but you need to get what feels best to you
Good luck

Sorry, couldn't help it. I have fired a whole bunch of pistols over the years, and the P01 works best for me so far, out of a lot of them. I do agree, find which one fits YOU best.

Well since you didn't have the CZ-75D PCR I chose the P-01, but unless you NEED a light rail and an overly blocky forend on a carry gun get the PCR.

i don't like da sa guns, i love xd's so therefore you can pretty much figure that i would say go with the xd. and with 19 plus 1 capacity you can't go wrong. with that said i actually like the service model better than the xdm but that is just me. so also give that a look see as well while you are in the market, and even though it isn'tan m it still has 16 plus 1 capacity.

I voted for the CZ because it is most like the Browning Hi Power which is my favorite. The CZ 75 is my second favorite.

CZ P-01 9mm for my carry gun.

CZ 97B 45acp for my house gun.

Can't go wrong with either........

CZ simply kicks butt in terms of ergonomics, accuracy, reliability

And price.

XDm:
no external hammer
grip safety
lighweight polymer frame
changeable grips
match barrel standard
19+1 in 9mm

no knock on the CZ (my shooting buddy has 2) but the XDm IMHO is a better arm.

Almost a P01, the PCR would be my choice. Not as blocky in the nose, but if you want the rail get the P01. CZs are great weapons, as are the XDs, but prefer all metal. Don't care for the safety on the slide on the Storm, but people that have them, like em:D

Have fun pickin!

Well I went and bought the XDM9 went to the store and it just fit my hand SO nice!! Still not crazy about SAO but I will get used to it!! Thanks for the input all!

Beretta Px4

...

I'd tell ya to go with a Beretta Px4 9mm for a host of reasons:

Price, very mid stream

Flush mag capacity 17 IIRC

Rotating barrel, proved longevity and means of reducing felt recoil which translates back into fast follow-up shots, with uncanny accuracy.

Lightweight, yet balanced, again due to the rotating barrel (no tilt up barrel movement) and options of ccw with stealth levers if desired, along with, comes in F model - decocker-safety in one, or G model - decocker-only. The ability to easily convert an F model to a G model if desired.

C- models, constant action trigger, if desired.

And speaking of triggers: One of the best, smoothest DA pulls out of the box.

Rails: for light or laser or combo of both

3 back straps for customizing the grip to your best liking.

And, having a Px4 40, 3yrs with over 7500k "flawless" rounds and they eat anything you feed them, you will be totally sold on their accuracy, dependability and reliability, with no break-in required, and EASE of disassembly, inspections, cleaning, and reassembly.

As mentioned, if not a Sig, then the Px4 offers the same for far less, in cost for a NIB gun, along with the ease of inspections or maintenance needed, over any of the other guns listed, bar none.

Sig P229R CT 9mm and Beretta Px4 40 G with rail mounted Lasermax

I had a XDM 9mm. Awesome gun but it is brick. I don't have the others and haven't yet fired them.

When shopping, I replaced the XMD with a HK USP 9mm compact.

Not listed, but i'd go for a CZ rami 9mm alloy, talk about a gun feeling like it was molded from your hand!!
