Narrowed down my search for a smaller 9mm than my BHP. Choice is between CZ-PCR and Sig 239. Rented both. Shot both. Love both. Can't afford both. Is the price difference between the two really a factor. I really like both equally but is the CZ a better gun for the money? Many thanks in advance.:banghead:

I have both a CZ PCR and the SIG P239, the SIG is more accurate, has a better trigger. The grip on the P239 is just a little short for me but it does not print as much as the double stack CZ. The slide on the P239 is tons thicker than the slide on the PCR, over all the CZ just seems thinner, except the grip. There are thin aluminum grips for the PCR to slim it up a bit. I rarely shoot the P239 anymore, the PCR is my daily beater, or was until I got the SIG RCS 1911. The CZ's novak style sights are nice but need to be tritium night sights. I do like the loaded chamber indicator and have confidence in the CZ but it has had a few issues with Remington ammunition only. The SIG has not had a single failure ever. Fit and finish is better on the SIG, the CZ is more comfy to carry IWB, If the CZ PCR was a single stack it would be a no brainer, but the SIG is a better pistol...I still carry the CZ anyway, the P239 not any more. I do own 6 SIG pistols and a 556 rifle, and only 1 CZ a PCR. I hope this helps, or murks the water, both are fine pistols, the SIG is better, but the CZ is the right tool for the job.

Have you put them on a ransom rest and tested this? I do not doubt that one is more accurate than the other in your hand.

To the OP its all about which one fits your hand better.
