Many years back I had my Browning A5 mag 12 30” full choke barrel tapped and setup for choke tubes. I received 4 chokes. Full, mod, imp and a golden full. The golden full is a truloc. I kinda remember being told that they were Winchester. There is no markings on the chokes except full, mod and imp. The three are thinner walled than any other chokes I have. They are flush to the barrel end when installed and are about 1 3/4” long. I want to purchase a new modified choke but I really don’t know what the manufacturer is or what will fit. My BPS chokes will not fit. Neither will my SBE 2 chokes. Any advice would be appreciated.

Older shotgun barrels such as your A-5 are too thin to take standard Win Choke or Browning tubes. There are two thinner tubes available to gunsmiths for these barrels, Tru-Choke and Tru-Choke thin wall. Briley in Houston has their own proprietary thinner tubes also. You will need to make some diameter measurements and determine the threads per inch on the tubes you have to get the correct replacements. Post the measurements here or consult the Brownells catalog for the proper choke tubes.
