Was thinking of buy a Cimarron Model P 43/4 inch in 45 ACP. Any problems with POA on these as I am assuming they are set up for the 45LC cartridge.

Thought it would be nice to use 45 ACP as it is a bit cheaper and I have a lot of it for my 1911s.

Any comments on these Uberti pistols appreciated...especially in 45 ACP.
thanks.

I own several Cimarron revolvers and all have come equipped with high thick front sights so you can properly regulate the sights to the ammunition you will be using.
The guns are made by Uberti and are the top of the quality levels of Uberti products.
Mind you, this doesn't always mean very much, but I have never come across a Cimarron/Uberti revolver that could not be made to shoot extremely well.

I own a Cimmaron Thunderer in .45LC/.45ACP.

It is a heckuva fun revolver. If you want one, get it. You won't be sorry.

XavierBreath-- That is a cool looking piece. Very Victorian. Does the impact point shift much when changing calibers? How does the accuracy compare between the two?

Clicked on your gun pic link. You've been busy.

Mine looks like this one from Cimmaron's web site:

Got a fanatastic deal on a big bunch of white box 45 ACP and needed something
to work worth them.

45 LC is very expensive unless you reload. Not as accurate as my 1911 but a lot of fun.

Checkered grip is a good thing on such a small grip. Timing on two holes has gotten
a bit off. I've thought of getting it tuned up but don't shoot it enough anymore to
think it's worth the trouble.
