Clarification of Cook County, Il assault weapons ban

Lots of rumors regarding the most recent Cook County, Illinois weapons legislation. I know the ordinance bans pistols and rifles with over 10 round magazines and semi-auto shotguns with 5 round magazines. There are rumors of 870's and model 12's being illegal due to the fact that they will hold 5 rounds of English 2" shells. Also rumors of a raid at the Maywood Gun Club where police confiscated 870's, model 12's, 1100's, etc. Anyone know the real facts?

The Maywood Sportsmen's Club is at 700 N. County Line Rd., in Elmhurst which is in DuPage County.

Cook County ban does not apply there.
