does anyone have any experience with compass lake engineering barrels and uppers? have three different barrels and lengths to choose from. i have a match upper coming with a 22" Douglas barrel. just want to read some opinions. thanks

CLE produces some of the best rifles available. Frank White innovated and brought to market a lot of the high power equipment that we use today. He has in my opinion the best SR floating hand guard tube out there.

Before John Holliger started using CNC equipment CLE turned and chambered his bulk barrels for him.

Frank taught machining at a local technical college and is a heck of a machinist. Gun parts is only a small part of what he does. I've seen some pretty expensive and impressive stuff that he has machined.

Good choice, CLE is good stuff. I've used their barrels for HP for years and have 0 complaints. iMHO you can't do better.

what howard said. i've had a bunch of work done by him (though it's been a few years). great barrels

CLE is one of the far above par builders. Top quality all the way and Frank White is a super nice human that knows some stuff.

thank you for the input guys. a good friend steered me to CLE and i was a bit curious about them as the name rarely comes up. i have a match upper coming and found it was cheaper yet high quality to get from them than it would be to get parts. im sure i'll be thrilled when it gets here. thanks again guys
