So now with the Tennessee Arms clear plastic lower does anyone else want to see clear plastic furniture in an m4 style as bad as I do? :D I think its neat to be able to see the inner workings of the rifle lower, especially the trigger group, and I think it would not only look cool but would show all the other aspects of the rifle, even though they really aren't moving, to have clear plastic furniture. I hope I'm not weird and just the only person who thinks this is a cool idea. :uhoh:

Doesn't really make sense. All you'll see through the stock is the receiver extension, and all you'll see under the handguard is more barrel, same as what you'd see ahead of it.

I guess you could skeletonize the receiver extension, but still...

So it would look like a cheap airsoft gun? It's your money and your gun, so if that's what you want to do, all the more power to you. Personally I don't think I would care for clear anything on my guns.

It would be neat to look at if it were an old time mechanical watch but other than that, clear furniture on an AR15...not so much so.

It would be cool looking but clear plastic tends to crack far easier than non do to the hardeners used to keep it from becoming milky so watch your backside

After using the same clear safety glasses at work for a few days they become dingy and all the cleaning in the world won't help. The hinges become rusty where the screw holds them together. I can't help but see that happening to the clear lower.

It's a neat idea and will probably make them money.

So it would look like a cheap airsoft gun?
That's what I thought too. Now paint the end of the barrel orange.

Really, think about it...

"Evil Clear Rifles" just doesn't have that right ring to it.
How long would it be before we heard the breathless wails on CNN about:

"... the invisible rifles with the shoulder things that go up and invisible hi capacity clips!"

Good gawd man, how're the supposed to regulate or confiscate a thing they can't see?

I thought only a politician could come up with such a dopey idea...maybe to count the number of rounds in your clear plastic magazine via drone from Homeland security headquarters.:neener:

only if Kate Upton is...eh, I better rethink this response.

But these will be invisible to police! They'll be shipped across the border by the thousands! Invisible guns= armageddon.

In reality, I think it would be cool but you couldn't really see the parts moving while you are shooting it, so more of a novelty than anything.

I have seen clear valve covers for a small block chevy floating around online. Pretty cool looking. I'd hope the AR parts would stay looking clear though... I worry I would ruin mine in about 2 days dragging it through the woods and truck.

It would be cool to see a clear AR be fired on a Youtube video or something, but I don't see any real reason to own one.
