CNN AWB Poll

I don't know if this has been posted on American Backyard before, but CNN is trying to do a job on gun owners. They are doing a quick poll asking if the assault weapons ban should be lifted or extended. Since mostly liberals support CNN, the poll was showing a huge loss to our position. It's turned around but not by much, but let's add some numbers to our side...So, get this out to everyone you know ASAP to impact the poll. It takes about 30 seconds to link over and vote. Do it right away. The poll wont stay up long. And distribute right away to your friends.

Please take a minute to go to the site by clicking the link below and cast your vote.

"In the lead now. Wonder if they'll dump it or actually present it in the news?"

What I wonder is if they can tell, by cookies or somesuch, that some of the pro-gunners voted more than once.

The results are not what they wanted so they will not run it, and im sure that some Antis voted more than once as well.

I've never seen CNN run a story based on the results of an acknowledgedly nonscientific web poll. Besides, the story is 20 days old already.

Web polls are intended as an interesting diversion to the reader of the story, not as any sort of data gathering.

(And all this poll really shows is that "our side" is much better at grass-roots Internet activism. Look how we turned it around!)

Matt, "360" with what's-his-name does an online poll every night, and then gives the results at the end. Of course, he's not a "real" journalist like the other CNN staff :barf: but, nevertheless, they do at times report unscientific polls.

Looks like we are still winning this one.

Should the federal ban on assault weapons be...

Lifted 57% 197466 votes

Extended 43% 151077 votes
Total: 348543 votes
