I originally wanted the S&W pro series 1911 then migrated to the Ruger SR1911 then changed my mind and looked at the Remington R1 enhanced model and really thought that was going to be the one. I took a trip to another Gun shop in the area and this Colt 1911 XSE series was there in all it's glory. I usually fancy stainless but being this was a 100th in service model I saw it only fitting that it be more like it was in the day. With this gun having just the right enhancements, I gravitated towards my wallet and let go of the Deniro.
Too many nice 1911's out there to choose from but I feel I done good on this one.
