I came across 2 factory Colt 20rd mags in a pawn shop and they want $40 each. Does anyone know what they were going for before SH. Thanks.

They were less than $20 the last time I bought any, but that's been a couple of years ago.

Thanks guys. I'm going to stop by there tomarrow and make them an offer, It want hurt to ask.

Picked up a pair 2 or 3 weeks ago for $25/ea. Brought back for me from St. Augustine, FL, NHMTG 30-rounders were running $30.

Generally 20-25 depending on the bottom plate logo. Colt changed that over the years, one style is from the Vietnam era. Some people get all giggly when they find those, so of course a few dollars more. Saw that info on a website somewhere about Colt mags.

$15 was what I was hoping for but I didn't have a large supply of 20-round mags as I was holding out for the next gen. PMAGS to fix the bolt catch issues. Should have Pony'd up for the Colts when they were more reasonable!

6 months ago A guy had a milk crate full of mixed brands for 5 bucks each. He let me pick through and find 4 Colts. Looking back I shoulda bought the whole milk crate full.

Today's price is $25 before shipping. Good info here.

Better than that, Brownells still sells them for $13.99. Get on the back order list and wait for them instead of paying stupid high prices. I just got an email confirmation that my order shipped and I should have them in a few days. The back order is about a month long, but I'm not in a hurry since Brownells moves faster than Congress, if Congress actually does anything which I doubt.

Jeff, glad to hear your order shipped from Brownells. When did you place your order? I ordered Pmags before Christmas and am waiting for my shipping notice. I have called them a few times and the folks on the phone have been great even though I'm sure they her the same questions all day long.

FIFO is the easy part, determining where you are in the process is the hard part. Also Brownells did have acomputer glitch that moved 300 orders to the front of the line in error.

at a gun show back in december, i saw 20 rd contract mags for $15 ea, except the colts, which were $20 ea.

i offered $50 for 4 of the non-colts and the seller accepted

I stopped by that shop today and offered $20 each for those new colt mags, but declined my offer.

Head back in three weeks and offer him $15. I've stared at a half-dozen 30-round USGIs at my LGS priced at $45/ea. for more than a month now. Consignment sale, or lack thereof.
