That's almost funny. Go back through the catalog of various 1911s Colt came out with over the past ten or fifteen years marketed to civilians, particularly concealed carriers and competition shooters. Let's see, got our Combat Elites, XSE models, LW and Combat Commanders, Defenders. Gold Cups, Combat Unit series, Competition series, Delta Elite Series, Traditional series, Wiley Clapp series, and then a number of really cool special runs. And what about revolvers? New Cobra series ring a bell? New Python?
You waiting for CZ to help Colt revive some of the "discontinued production line for the civilian market?" All-righty, then...
How long it took them to bring out Cobra series?
how many more ditch efforts and more bankruptcies to avoid going under and out?
so yeah it may be funny but now they will have solid financials.
look if they got to this and sold old- something was wrong and wasnt done right.
