In 1992, I bought this stainless S80 Enhanced Commander. From the get go, it was a PITA. Under warranty, Bain & Davis made it right, but the pistol just never grabbed me and in 1993 when I bought a Springfield Milspec, the Commander got regulated to only occasional use.
Finally, I decided to do something about it. I sent the pistol off to Tripp Research with a list of things I wanted changed. They did all the gunsmith work as well as the refinish. I am very pleased with the results.

Carry bevel and a new bushing
Serrated front strap to match MSH
Matching top strap (got to decorate that flat slide Colt left blank)
Commander ring hammer and grip safety
