OK, with pretty much all of the US's big manufacturers out-sourcing their manufacturing process, the question came up today at work about Colt.

Are Colt firearms still manufactured in the U.S.A.?

Thank you...

Ala Dan is right, but today they buy many of the parts from outside vendors. Prior to World War Two they made every part, regardless of how small, in their own plant.

Colt's are assembled in the USA, but many parts come from elsewhere!

No, you are thinking of Springfield Armory and others. Colt uses locally sourced parts for all major components and does not ship US jobs overseas like Springfield and others.

Factual posts are best.

There is one Colt not made in the U.S.A. Their new AR 22 is made by Carl Walther in Germany and is imported by Umarex.
