Colt has a Series 90? And they're gonna stop making guns???

1. People are misunderstanding me: He said that Colt IS GOING to stop making guns. Not "they have," but "they are GOING to..."

2. If it isn't a Colt, it isn't a 1911.

You know checking out the newest offerings from SA, Kimber, Colt and others...Im not sure I agree with dsk.

There really isn't anything to disagree with. Kimber uses more MIM slag, period, and there are more owner complaints of Kimber MIM thumb safeties, grip safeties and mag releases breaking in two for no apparent reason.

Which isn't to say that new Colts are perfect, but what you DON'T see are lots of complaints about Colts having major "steel" parts break in two. A similar search on Colt turned up a feeding hiccup in somebody's new Commander, a loose trigger, and not much else until you dig back to 2002 and a couple of bad extractors. Note that there are about 28,000 posts in the Kimber forum vs. 38,000 posts in the Colt forum.

Scientific? Nope. Not even close. Worth considering? Maybe. :D
