Colt Instructions

I recall a thread with a photo of the inside lid of a cased Colt revolver. Glued to the lid were the factory instructions for loading and cleaning the C&B revolver.

Can anyone repost that photo or provide a link? I am unable to find it.

Colt himself would demonstrate the ability of his revolvers during lectures. As he was talking, he would load a cylinder per the instructions above and cap it. He would then drop the revolver in a bucket of water and continue speaking. After 15 or 20 minutes, or more, he would retrieve the revolver from the bucket and proceed to fire it. He was a good showman and supposedly gave a good show.

There are earlier versions of these instructions thatvpredate the use of foil cartridges. In these earlier instructions they specifically dispense with the use of any wadding between the powder and projectile and do not mention any grease on top of the projectile.
