I looked and I can't seem to be able to figure out if colt offered a 3.5 inch barrel on their King Cobra, in .357 mag.
Basically did they make them in that config or is this a chop down, or simple measurement error lol.

Could be the seller isn't properly measuring the barrel. A revolver barrel is measured from the front of the cylinder (to include forcing cone), not the front of the frame.

If you measure it properly, like evan price instructs, you will find that it is a 4 inch.

Measuring to the front of the frame is a common mistake.

Pretty sure it has to be a 4" barrel because the only two other shorter barrel lengths that the King Cobra was offered in were 2" and 2 1/2".
