Do a search here for "Sistema" pistols. There are lots of posts as well as resource suggestions.

Actually, Colt is one brand of pistol while the "Sistema" is another brand made under license.

Even though they were made with the same tooling, it is not accurate to call them "Colt Sistema" pistols. Sistemas are great pistols, but don't fall for the sales hype.

But you can call them "Sist. Colt Cal. 11.25mm Mod 1927" pistols. Well, that's what mine has on it's slide anyway.

I have a sistema that was built in 1958. Good gun that runs like a top for me. When I got it there was no finish left, so I had to parkerize it. Looks good and runs like a top now.
