Colt vs Kimber 3 inch Question

Got rid of all my Kimbers. All my 1911s are now Colts. Been shooting a NewAgent since they came out. No problems Just chugs away. Seen two Kimbers blown up with hot loaded ammo, not the fault of the gun. But was able to see the grain of the metal in the slide. The metal grains looked like cast iron, large and unrefined.Not a gun snob, My second choice is Springfield Armory. Just decided to return to my roots with Colt.

I had a Defender for a bunch of years. Absolutely 100% reliable. Never a cough or hiccup.

The 3 " not relieable maybe years ago But they seem to work fine now . I have Colt Defender its several years old 100% relieable Colt New Agent Bought one first came out 100% relieable . I also have 2 Colt officers 3 1/2" guess what work perfect. Guess I better but a lottery ticket.
