Colt/Walther 1911-22 trigger question

I bought a colt/walther 1911-22 a few months ago. I love it. My only complaint would be the trigger. I have not scaled it but it has to be at least 8 lbs. Will standard 1911 parts fit? What options do I have?

I have the same pistol. I've not measured the pull, but it doesn't seem unreasonably high to me.

That said, I'm told that some parts are interchangeable but I don't know for sure which ones. I think you need a new sear and perhaps hammer.

I'm sure someone smarter than me will be along soon.
