Combat revolver grips

I use pachmyr grips on my 66, fills the hand nicely and absorbs recoil. I have a set of Marschal wood grips I ordered that I like as well, unfortunately the screw placement is not ideal on the 66 as it tries to go right through the mainspring :(. When i move the hole it will wear those more than the pachmyrs. both are very comfortable, although of course the rubber pachmyrs are a better option if you feel the need to choke up on the gun.

For my hand (XL), I prefer Pachmayr Presentation grips. I've used them on my Smiths for 40+ years. I hit better with them than with wood, and get a better grip weld. Different folks may have different results, it is all about how they fit your hand that matters.

Look hard at Ahrend's, very affordable. I have a set of his Retro Combats in dark red cocobolo for a N frame model 58 and a K frame model 64 that fit my hand like a glove. Check his site, and have Kim custom make exactly what you want in the wood you want.
I'm going to have some others made in Retro Target just as soon as I can make up my mind on which wood to order.
Need some advice, call or E-mail and Kim will help you select exactly what you need. Super nice guy too!
