I live in Slovakia, and under the law hereconcealed carry is mandatory outside of ones private property. We have several fields in different parts of the village, so when I am out working I must CC.
Right now I use a Smart-Carry, but when it is cold and I put on more layers, accessing the gun becomes more difficult. And, while the Smart Carry is comfortable enough walking around town, there are times when it isn't so comfortable while doing physical work.
So I am looking for ideas on what is a good way to conceal a CZ-75 Compact, yet have it comfortable and accesible regardless of the amount of clothing I am wearing. I have thought of a tactical vest that could also hold other useful tools (knife, flashlight, twine, pliers, etc.) but it seems like these are either made for open carrying or those made for concealed-carry assume IWB carry. I'm not really sure anyway if these vests work very well being worn over a winter jacket.
As far as I understand the law, concealed just means the gun isn't visible, even if it is more or less obvious a gun is there.
All of my previous experience has been with Smart-Carry or Thunder-wear or a pocket holster and open-carrying when in the U.S.
Thanks for any thoughts!
