Concealed carry permit

What good is a concealed carry permit if you can't carry everywhere you go? If I have a drivers license I can drive all over the US. But it seems individuals can ban concealed carry when they feel like it. Seems like the ole double standard to me.:banghead:

However, I can carry inside the mall...

With my CHL I can carry in public 99.9% of the places I go.
Without the CHL I can carry in public 0.0% of the places I go.

I'll take 99.9%.

Here in Oregon, I can carry anywhere except a courtroom, SECURE portion of a jail or prison,and.....well, thats it (with the exception of federal buildings and natonal parks,which is federal law that applies to everyone,everywhere so I tend to not count them, really.Especially since I have no reason or desire to ever go to either of othse places ayway, so...).I can carry aywhere else I want, open or concealed with my OR permit.So it's really very good here, and since I have no reason or interest in going to any other states, I'm pretty well covered.I understand what you are saying though, as the vast majority of states are not nearly as good for where or how you can carry, and having lived in them, it can suck pretty bad.
