Considering swapping CW9 for Bersa CC.

I find 4/5-ish works better than 3 in an IWB holster. I keep catching myself in the nerve tunnel on the elbow when the full-size M&P sneaks up to 3'o clock.

orion8427 If you IWB allows vertical adjustment slide your around tpward the front some more. See how that works. My son-in0law is a stcik man, skinny does not do him justice and I am the oppisite with a spare tire. Bth of use wear at a 1:30 to 2:00 position. with shirts tucked in. He has a PF-9 now and i wear mt CW9.

Good luck

As far as trading down between Kahr and Bersa....in finishing...maybe a little bit....as far as fit or quality, it is just people imagination...Bersas are wonderful pistols...
Bersas are nice guns. But it is not anyone's imagination that Kahrs have better fit or quality.

You have simply contracted "swapatosis". It's a common ailment contracted by direct contact with gun forums, gun magazines, and gun shops. Avoid all three for 36 hours while dry-firing your Kahr CW9. You'll be fine.

Quality is made of finish, fit and reliability...I see Kahr relative superiority (with Bersa gaining rapidly, the latest Thunder Pros have a very nice finish) only in finish.......fit is a toss up (in my opinion) and as far as reliability, anecdotical examples (as far as I saw personally) give Bersa the edge....

Here's the thing. I don't believe in the "one-gun-fits-all-situations" scenario. Did you ever watch the movie Serenity? There's a character named Jayne Cobb. I agree with his theory of gun ownership, at which he stated that he liked to have a choice when asked about the number of guns he had. I agree with this.

Sometimes I carry a Bersa Thunder .380 DLX, sometimes a 9x18 Mak, and when my back is really bothering me, a little Walther P22 fits the bill. So I ask, why can't you have both? You already have a CW9, why not save for the Bersa CC? Then you too could have a choice. :D

My post is just my opinion. I own both Bersas and Kahrs. My Kahrs have been 100% reliable.

My Bersa decided that it was no longer interested in extracting spent casings today. ~sigh~
