got the new 527 carbine in 7.62,,,
when i aim with the ball of the front sight setting in the notch and centered on the target at 100 yds it shoots about 6 inches high
so i call CZ to find out about getting the correct height front sight
he tells me he can't tell me how much an increase by one step in the sight will affect placement down range
not even a ball park
then he goes into stuff about different loads blah blah blah
(i plan to settle on 1 or 2 loads)
and not only that but they are $8 per sight
so then i asks, "well then what is the "most correct" sight picture for these sights?"' (thinking i'm using them wrong)
He says, "thats personal preference, sir, i cant tell you that."
seeing hows i was getting nowhere, the conversation ended soon after.
anyone want to toss a few thoughts on this at me?
any help, as always, would be greatly appreciated.
