Holy Crap!
I have wondered about that too.
Next question is will a CZ-75 9mm mag work in a .40 S&W?
I have some hi-caps for my CZ-75 and it would be cool to have a 13 shot or so 357 SIG.
Thanks.
I had a CZ-40B and found that most CZ (and aftermarket ) mags made for the CZ-75B .40 or 9mm would work in the gun. This seems to be true with the 75B in .40, as well.
I wouldn't bother, however, since you can get EAA Witness .40 mags from CDNN pretty cheaply, and they'll work.
(The EAA Witness often have to be "tweaked" because Witness seems to have their release positioned just a tiny bit lower than the CZ. When used in the CZ, their mags jam up against the slide. A needle file or Dremel fixes the problem.)
But with 9mm hi-caps, you aren't likely to get 13 rounds in there. Maybe 12 (or less.)
For only 11 or 12 rounds, I may as well just stick with 10 rounders and save my Hi-caps for the 9mm.
I have thought about the CZ-40. If I could get a 357 SIG barrel for it, then it would really rock.
