Converting A Belt Loop Holster To A Paddle Holster

Is that possible or are there systems out there that I can buy to convert a leather belt holster to a paddle holster?

I have a .454 ruger alaskan and the galco leather holster for it. I'd like to convert it to apaddle if there was a kit out there for it.

Any ideas on how to achieve that?

Blackhawk Serpa Holsters sells a paddle that you could probably rivet to the back side of your holster. Check out www.tactical-store.com or www.tactical.com.

Some holsters have the belt loops attached with screws and can be converted to a paddle, or back and forth.

I have a Wilson Combat convertable 1911 holster.

I don't know of any good way to do it on a holster with a sewn-on or integral belt loop.
