Wanted a bigger tumbler. Been just doing water/dawn/lemishine & not tumbling at all - I don't care about real pretty, just clean. But after switching to alcohol/lanolin spray lube, I want that off my cases & read a lot of you guys say "throw it in tumbler for 30 min". My tumbler is the smaller FA one & while it works ok, doesn't hold a lot and doesn't cascade as aggressively so takes a while. SO figured I'd try the BIG one from HF: https://www.harborfreight.com/18-lb-vibratory-bowl-with-liquid-drain-hose-96923.html $132 w/ coupon, 18 lbs capacity. Seems to work real well and holds a LOT. 3k 9mm cases just disappeared in it. Just dumped a 30 cal can (~600) loaded .223 and looked like I could easily dump in 2 more. Cascades & moves stuff pretty fast (at least with lid off when I can see) - I'd say almost 2x as fast as my smaller FA. Now I need a larger media separator to dump it in:) It's also pretty quiet for what it is and little less noise than the FA one which seems to be about average compared to others for noise. I think $130 is a lot for a tumbler, but it is a lot faster, quieter, and holds much more at once. Batch sizes in the hundreds, overkill, batch sizes in the thousands, nice size.

Had coupon for their dry storage ammo boxes & since I'm out of empty 30 cal can, figured I'd grab a few to try. They're $3 with coupon! They're roughly same size but slightly different shape than a 30 cal can. Hold the same. ~600 loaded .223, ~1200 loaded 9mm (loose). A full one with .223 seems plenty sturdy. A full one with 9mm, the lid is flexing up when lifted by handle & I can't see it being moved a lot before failing if totally full of 9mm. To just fill & sit somewhere, fine, but I wouldn't transport it full of 9mm - .223 I would. The handle on top folds flat so you can just stack them easily. For $3 they get an A+ from me & will pick up more before coupon expires. The 3 I got seem to close up real tight & they have a seal. Not as good as a real ammo can seal, but looks sufficient for general use. https://www.harborfreight.com/Ammo-Dry-Box-61451.html Mine look a little different than website. They have a big sticker on side & not the Bunker Hill logo. Sticker needs hair dryer to remove or it tears & leaves goo. 30 sec with hair dryer on low it peels off quick & clean.

No experience with HF ammo cans, but got a good deal from Tractor Supply during Christmas on their metal 50 cal. cans for $7 ea. shipped. Got 4 and all are new with rubber seal.
