Just wondering if Marlin has something like a "custom shop" where you could have them specially set up a rifle. I would like to get an 1895 but I want a rifle/stock configuration that they don't offer...basically the 22" blued 1895 with laminated stock and big loop lever.

OR...

If I got an 1895 XLR, what would it cost me to have the barrel cut to 21"? I love the looks of that gun but the barrel is too darn long...

Please let me know if there is an easy solution to this that I am overlooking!

I know I can get this stuff aftermarket, but I figure it would be less expensive to get it set up from the factory. Wild West's big loop lever alone is ridiculously expensive...I dont want to buy a 500 dollar gun, then put on a 150 dollar lever and a 150 dollar stock...thanks for the link to the stock though, I didnt know those were available. You know what, Brownells has a laminated stock set for an 1895g that costs almost 500 bucks. REALLY?!

No custom operation for Marlins at Remington.
You buy standard catalogued guns & get them reconfigured on your own.

Back when the plant in CT was still open Marlin had something of a custom shop although they did not advertise it as such. You could get barrels traded out and different wood etc. Now that Remington has taken over Marlin and moved the production to NY you can pretty much forget any custom work.
