CoWitness Red Dot for Mp15

Hey guys I’m sure it’s been asked if before but I tried searching and I got tired of scrolling.

So, for hunting up to about 200 yards, what would be a good red dot that can cowitness with the flip up sight in the MP15.

Something with a 2 MOA or smaller dot. I’m not aware of any with a 1 MOA dot other than a Romeo4T with Plex reticle, but there might be some others out there.

I’ve become a fan of the Romeo dot sights lately. There are lots of options with regard to mounting options, battery type and reticle.

You may want to look at rhe burris ff3 with AR mount. That cowitnessed with my flip ups. For a cheaper option the bushnell trs25, on a utg .83 riser should work.

Ive got my trs-25 on a 1" riser, and thats a little high. My rear flip up can still be used to sharpen the dot, but i dont use a front sight so cant say WHERE it would cowitness.

Personally, I'd lean more towards a 1-4x scope for those ranges, but I prefer the option of magnification.

The TRS-25 is nice especially if you can find it at a good price. In the similar price range, the Primary Arms Micro Dot (the non "Advanced" version) is another quality option depending on what each is going for right now.

For some reason I’m worse with a scope than I am with sights.
