Does anyone know if the Crickett Pistol from Keystone is exempt from the California DOJ roster? I know that some single action only revolvers are exempt, like the Rough Rider from Heritage.
Bring up the above-linked page. Click on "Select gun make (manufacturer)".
You'll see in that list Kahr Arms, then Kimber. Keystone should be between those two, but it's not. Which means... no.
I don't know what else to tell you. I have no FFL experience.
But based on a query of mine last week to my LGS, on the other hand, used revolvers, say, can be sold in California (as off-roster?), but they must be altered to single-action only. Some CA sellers will, upon satisfactory completion of the DROS, background check and 10-day waiting period, provide with the gun the parts necessary for double-action operation. Just can't be sold that way, apparently.
