Aren't there some rather harsh penalties to prevent this ? :scrutiny:

Any " shady/unscupulous " types would be out of business rather quickly methinks. :banghead:

Such an appropriate emoticon when dealing with PBP.

I pointed that out to him, yet he did the Brady Bunch Barn dance and then promptly skipped over it.

I pointed out that any firearm manufactured in or imported into this country was required by law to have a serial number and documentation from the factory. He then mumbled something about the number of fines levied "before they passed the laws in 93-94" and skipped right along once again, and then ignored the post where I informed him that had been the law of the land since 1968 *sigh*

When I pointed out that his entire "poll" was patently ridiuclous and why he suavely responded "get a grip".

Real class act, this one.

Yeah, :banghead: is quite appropriate.

Why does this NOT surprise me?

You cut out the parts of the post that you should have responded to, and then submitted a non-response. Sadly, an all too typical pattern.

Care to go back and try to fill in the blanks, or would you rather continue to claim that others are not making valid points?

Or doesn't the HCI handbook have that chapter?

I can understand being home with some time on your hands and posting here a bit, I do the same thing myself. It's just that the Penguin went from new member to senior member in about 4 days, his average is slowing down, but I wouldn't compare his posts to yours by a long shot.

Bill

Thank goodness. You have no idea how relieved I am to know that others aren't comparing my posts to his.

You just made my whole week a little brighter. :)

Much thanks.

Anyone have any data on this issue?

Who cares how I feel criminals get their guns?

I feel like criminals get their guns from the fires of Mt. Doom.

I am sure the FBI has data on this. Why don't we find out from there where criminals get their guns?

I honestly don't have any idea, but I do know one of the local shops I frequent recently had someone attempt to drive a truck through the storefront during off hours in an attempt to steal weapons. They did not succeed.

Well, at least he was smart enough to wait until they were closed. I have always wondered what kind of person would be dumb enough to try and rob a gun shop during their open hours.:)

There was a daytime attempt at another shop here in Indy a few years back. The bad guys got the owner's main gun, but while they were deciding how to kill him he got ahold of his backup .357 and killed them. Now, he has electronic entry only into his shop. You have to buzz in.

Actually, I found a link to the story.
