Crockett 32 Pistol

My bud has me selling some of his guns as I have posted. And most of them I know an approximate value on. He gave me his Crockett 32 pistol to sell but doing a GB search and Google search I cannot find a ballpark price on this gun. It is brand new and unfired but has no box or paperwork. So anyone have a guess on what the value might be so I can list it?

They seem to be in demand right now. Last two I saw went for $400-450. I paid $300 for mine 3 years ago.

Wow! Thats nuts. But a lot more than I expected. Thanks. I guess I will list it on gunbroker for a penny start and see where it goes from there. I would have never guessed. The man that owns it just left and he said $125 was fine with him. But that may be a mistake. I am trying to help him out. I get nothing off of selling his guns. He did give me 5000 209 primers and 3400 small pistol primers for doing this. Thats a fair payment as far as I'm concerned.

I paid $250 on GB for mine a few years ago, unfired like that. It is a very kewl and wonderful shooter . It take .310 balls with a thin patch

Thanks. Its listed on GB now and last time I looked it was selling for $125. That was the start price. It has several watchers so I'm sure it will go for more than that. It is what it is.

An update. The gun sold today for $270 plus shipping and taxes. I sure hope the buyer is a member here and post a report.

Who ever got it got a great deal. Those guns are as rare as hens teeth.

Definitely a good deal for the buyer. They are sweet shooters, like the Crockett rifles. I don't understand why Traditions stopped making the pistols.

You can sometimes find the kits at gun shows. That is where I got mine. The kit is not hard to put together, and I defarbed all of the lawyerese from the barrel before I browned it. I don't think Traditions is making side lock rifles and pistols any more, just in-line stuff.

HaHa that was funny. The gun was in perfect shape and unfired . My bud never shot it because he thought the buttstock felt "bulbous" or how ever that is spelt. I didn't think it felt bad at all and encouraged him to shoot it but he never would. I think he goofed up.

I sure like the Pietta 36 caliber I bought from him. My two boxes of round balls and Lee bullet mold got here yesterday. Now I need to go shoot that gun. I need a holster for it too.

I'm a very big fan of the .36 caliber. I have two revolvers, but still would really like a single shot in .36". (.375-380")
